Today, Saturday (Saturday), the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population announced that it recorded 238 new infections with the newly created “Corona” virus, and 29 deaths.
The adviser to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and official spokesman for the ministry, Khaled Mujahid, said in a statement that 1,499 recovered people were discharged from hospitals, bringing the number of people recovered to 41137 cases to date.
Mujahid stated that the number that has been recorded to date is 94,316 cases, of whom 41137 cases were cured, and 4,834 deaths.
In mid-March, Egypt imposed measures for public isolation to combat the outbreak of the virus, including curfews at night, banning large public gatherings, and closing restaurants and theaters, and most of these measures have been lifted since late June.
A few days ago, the Council of Ministers announced the extension of working hours in cafes and restaurants from ten in the evening until midnight, while increasing the occupancy rate to 50 per cent.
