Dortmund should ease the training burden on Bellingham

Sebastian Kehl, head of the player licensing division of the Borussia Dortmund club, confirmed that the team’s coaching staff must deal gently with the preparation period for the young player Judy Bellingham, who joined the team this summer.

And the technical staff of the team needs not to burden the player with significant burdens during the preparation period for the new season, given that the player did not obtain a sufficient rest period.

Bellingham, 17, played for the English club Birmingham City until mid-July, before officially moving to Dortmund, in a deal reported to be worth 25 million euros.

“(Bellingham) passed a very long year, which was not easy for him. Therefore, we will compensate him for this during the preparation period,” Kehl said in comments to Al-Nadi TV.

Dortmund will resume training tomorrow, Monday, after the players underwent two tests to detect new infections of the “Corona” virus.
