Antwerp surprises Bruges and crowns the Belgium Cup

Royal Antwerp blew a big surprise, after he was crowned the Belgian Cup title, by defeating the ancient club Bruges 1-0.
Antwerp owes the credit for this victory at King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels, to his midfielder Lior Rafaelov, the only goal in the 25th minute. With this, Antwerp savors the culmination of the Cup title after an absence of 28 years, when he was crowned the title at the expense of Michelin with a penalty shootout.

After two copies (1955 and 1992), Antwerp raised his trophies in the Cup to 3, to equate with Gent.

While the Cup championship continues to be difficult for Bruges, it was absent from him 5 years ago, specifically in 2015 when he was crowned at the expense of Anderlecht.

Club Bruges are still the leaders in the cup with 11 titles, and are only two titles away from Anderlecht.
