Over the past 15 years, competition and controversy have intensified between two of the world’s most prominent CEOs, Elon Musk, Tesla founder and CEO of SpaceX, and Jeff Bezos, Amazon CEO and richest man in the world.

Although the two work in two different fields, the dispute between them is due to their space ambitions. In 2000, Bezos established the company “Blue Origin” to send human flights to space, and two years later he created the Mask of the SpaceX company specialized in the industries of aerospace engineering, airspace and spaceflight. , According to the site Business Insider.

Musk and Bezos’ rivalry dates back to 2004 when the two CEOs met for dinner, and their companies were still in the bud and did not launch any spaceflight, to discuss their missile ambitions, and the discussion was hot and not quite, according to the American website.

And the competition between them remained quiet until 2013, when SpaceX attempted to rent and monopolize the NASA launch platform, prompting Blue Origin and United Launch Alliance to file a formal protest to the US government to prevent SpaceX from taking over NASA, and Bezos suggested turning it into a commercial spaceport available to all Launch companies.

From this moment, Musk began his attack on Bezos, and Musk told Space News at the time: “Blue Origin has not yet succeeded in creating a reliable civilian spacecraft, despite spending more than 10 years in development, if they develop a vehicle that conforms to the standards that I set NASA and can dock with the International Space Station, we will agree to launch it from NASA. ”

Ultimately, SpaceX succeeded in obtaining a monopoly over the use of the NASA launch station.

In 2014, the two companies entered into a patent battle when Blue Origin was granted a patent for unmanned space ships, which are used to land missile boosters, and Musk protested this patent because his company would pay Bezos to use this technology, and indeed the patent was withdrawn from Blue Origin.

In recent years, the dispute between Musk and Bezos turned to communication sites, and their dispute began to appear in the public, but the dispute was not limited to space ambitions. Musk objected to the employment practices of Blue Origin Company, and mocked Bezos’ interviews. In one of the interviews, Musk was asked about Bezos, individual, “Jeff Who?”.

While Bezos was less public about his alienation and disagreement from Mask and his criticism of him on the networking sites.
