Ahmed Fathy, the Al-Ahly player, whose contract with the team expires at the end of the current season, ended some attempts to create crises within the team after the resumption of the competition.
Fathi said through his Twitter account: “There is no need to spread rumors about my relationship with the Al-Ahly club, its management, coaches and fans. All that is said currently is completely unfounded, and no problems will and will not occur with the entity, God willing.”
Ahmed Fathy did not participate in the Al-Ahly match against Enppi, which ended with the team winning a clean double, leaving some reports of a crisis between the player and the team’s technical staff.
For his part, Sayed Abdel Hafeez, Al-Ahly football manager, confirmed that what was reported about Ahmed Fathi’s part in not participating in the Enppi match in the 15th round of the league is completely untrue and has nothing to do with reality.
Abdel Hafeez explained that every player in the team knows his role and its limits, and no one can go beyond or exceed the limits set for him.
