The chief cardiologist of the Russian Ministry of Health Sergey Boetsov said that refusing to wear masks when meeting others is the main mistake made while lifting the restrictions imposed to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Boetsov added, in an interview: “Remember that the best way to curb the transmission of infection is to wear masks, by all those involved in the process of infection, that is, the person who is not yet aware of this, as well as the person who is not infected.”
The doctor stressed that wearing a protective mask, in public places, is a sign of respect for others, according to the website “Russia Today.”
In addition, this specialist warned, the danger of practicing self-medication. For example, taking some over-the-counter medications can cause a hemorrhagic stroke or intestinal bleeding.
