A negative precedent for the Lakers this season

Having secured top spot in the West Zone in the NBA, the Los Angeles Lakers fell in the first game after this feat by losing to the Oklahoma City Thunder by 86-105, in a test of what might await in the playoffs.

The Lakers did not advance for any moment throughout the game in a previous one of its kind this season, to suffer a second loss since the appeal in exchange for two wins.

Chris Paul was the best scorer with 21 points, added by Italian Danilo Galinari to achieve Thunder’s 42nd victory this season against 25 defeats and to remain fourth in the West, one difference from Utah Jazz, who beat Memphis Grizzlies.

James was the best by the Lakers with 19 points and 11 rebounds in 30 minutes, while Anthony Davis was satisfied with nine points and 5 assists.

After the meeting, the king said, “We have to continue working on some things. We missed the competition for four and a half months.”

Coach Frank Vogel included all the Lakers players in the game to test them before the start of the knockout rounds in the Orlando bubble, as the competitions resumed last week after stopping nearly 4 months.

James commented, “We have some players who are new to the system. We are just trying to get everyone involved and put them in the air.”

The following are the results of the matches:

Boston Celtics – Brooklyn Nets 149–115

Orlando Magic – Toronto Raptors 99 – 109

Los Angeles Lakers – Oklahoma City Thunder 86-105

Washington Wizards – Philadelphia 76ers 98-107

San Antonio Spurs – Denver Nuggets 126 – 132

Utah Jazz – Memphis Grizzlies 124 – 115.

A catastrophic red streak and beware what awaits us in the fall!
