Billionaire billionaire Elon Musk’s fortune surpassed that of Warren Buffett, becoming the seventh richest person in the world.
Bloomberg said Tasla’s chief executive officer, Mask Wealth, increased $ 6.07 billion Friday. Buffett’s net worth declined last week after he donated $ 2.9 billion in shares in Berkshire Hathaway, which he heads for charity, the report added. The fortune of the young billionaire owner of Tesla increased a billion dollars on Friday after the company’s shares increased by 11%, moving to seventh place globally, outperforming the godfather of Omaha, Warren Buffett, Larry Page and Sergey Brain.
The 49-year-old owns about 20% of Tesla’s shares, making up the bulk of his $ 70.5 billion fortune. It also has a majority stake in SpaceX, which is valued at about $ 15 billion.
Tesla shares, which are specialized in the electric car industry, have risen 269% this year. The firm’s strong valuation helped Musk’s fortunes earn $ 595 million earlier this year as the highest annual pay for a chief executive in the United States.
Musk is the latest tech entrepreneur to beat Warren Buffett in the ranking of the world’s rich, with the latter donating $ 2.9 billion to the Gates Foundation. Musk overcame Steve Ballmer, former Microsoft CEO and co-founders of Google, Larry Page and Sergey Brian.
Mike Novogratz, the veteran chief executive of the Galaxy Digital Holdings fund that manages huge investments in cryptocurrencies, warned that technology companies’ valuations were rising too much and that small investors had to exit the market before it collapsed.
