The UAE condemns the Houthi terrorist attacks against civilians in Saudi Arabia

The United Arab Emirates condemned the attempts of the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia to target civilian areas in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through drones and ballistic missiles towards the Kingdom intercepted by the coalition forces.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued a statement on Monday, expressing its full solidarity with the Kingdom regarding these terrorist attacks against civilians, and standing with it in a row against every threat to its security and stability.

The Emirates affirmed its support in all its measures to protect its security and the safety of its citizens and residents on its lands.

The statement stressed that the security of the United Arab Emirates and the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are all indivisible and that any threat or danger facing the Kingdom is considered by the state to be a threat to the security and stability system in it.

He pointed out that the continuation of these attacks and threats illustrates the nature of the danger facing the region from the Houthi coup, and new evidence of this militia’s endeavor to undermine security and stability in the region.

The OIC General Secretariat also condemned the launch by Houthi terrorist militia of “booby-trapped” drones and ballistic missiles towards the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which, on Monday morning, the forces of the Alliance for Legitimacy Support in Yemen were able to intercept and destroy.

The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Dr. Youssef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, renewed the organization’s support for the efforts of the forces of the Alliance to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, stressing the organization’s full support and solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all its measures to confront this dangerous terrorism.

Al-Uthaimin, the Houthi terrorist militia, and those behind them, with money and arms, held full responsibility for these terrorist acts targeting civilians and civilian objects inside Yemen and the neighboring countries.

In turn, Dr. Meshaal bin Fahim Al-Salami, President of the Arab Parliament, condemned in the strongest terms the launch of the Houthi militia militia, 7 drones and 4 ballistic missiles towards Saudi Arabia.

The President of the Arab Parliament praised the high efficiency of the Arab coalition forces to support the legitimacy of the Kingdom’s leadership in addressing these repeated terrorist attacks, highly appreciating the efforts made by the coalition to protect civilians and civilian objects in the Kingdom and foiling the malicious goals of these terrorist acts, stressing the full Arab Parliament’s solidarity with the Kingdom, and its support for all The measures it takes to preserve its security and the safety of its citizens and residents on its lands.

In a related context, the Secretary General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, condemned the attacks carried out by the Houthi militias.

Al-Hajraf affirmed that these repeated, deliberate hostilities by the Houthis against civilian targets inside Yemen and the neighboring countries represent a flagrant violation of international laws and norms.

He expressed his condemnation of supplying these weapons to Iran to the Houthis, in violation of the embargo imposed by Security Council Resolution 2216, which constitutes a threat to the security and stability of the region, and hinders a political solution to the crisis in Yemen.
