Apple supported multitasking on its iPads a few years ago, but Gmail from Google has not yet supported this feature. However, this has now changed. Ultimately, the Gmail app is now appearing on the Dock where multitasking apps are displayed and you can use it in conjunction with Google Photos and Google Calendar.

Multitasking on iPad is very useful as it comes with the original drag-and-drop feature for text or images.

Google said in a short message that the app should already work for both Google G Suite customers and end users who have personal accounts, but they must make sure that they have the latest version of the app. Clients were also urged to “allow multiple applications” in the Settings main screen menu, in addition to activating the keyboard shortcuts for Gmail.
