Under the directives of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, the Human Resources Department announced the return of all employees of the departments and bodies of the Government of Sharjah to the duty station at 100%, as of next Sunday, corresponding to 19 July 2020
The circular clarified the necessity of the commitment of all parties to take health precautionary measures related to the physical distance between employees, and the readiness of the office environment in accordance with the preventive measures that allow 100% return of employees and to start the work with reassurance, and determine the reception of the number of auditors to ensure public safety. the work.
The circular confines the exception to returning to the workplace, while continuing to work remotely for the category of employees with chronic diseases, as proven by a medical report.
His Excellency Dr. Tariq Sultan Bin Khadim, Head of the Human Resources Department, stressed that the decision came in implementation of the wise directions of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, within the comprehensive plan for the gradual return to normal life in the emirate.
He added that detailed regulations have already been circulated containing the preparations that all parties must take to contain the return of all employees to their offices, and they were followed up on occupational health and safety requirements to ensure a safe office environment that achieves business continuity with confidence.
All the instructions and measures for this stage were also clarified through the Manual on Return to Work for Sharjah Government Departments and Authorities, which was issued by the department in advance and included on the website.
