The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia affirmed the unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Arab lands and the non-interference in its internal affairs, stressing its rejection of any prejudice that threatens the stability of the region.
Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, during his participation in the Arab-Chinese ministerial meeting, said yesterday, Monday, that the Kingdom condemns regional interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries.
He said that those interventions “that play a subversive role through their support for armed terrorist militias, and fueling sectarian and ethnic divisions, and these interventions require a serious pause from the international community.”
He reaffirmed the Arab countries’ support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of China and the one-China principle, and highly valued the Chinese positions in support of the rights of the Palestinian people, the Arab Peace Initiative and the two-state solution, as well as the confirmed positions on respecting the independence and sovereignty of states and non-interference in their internal affairs.
The Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs stated that the Kingdom and China are developing friendly relations that develop in all fields and establish a comprehensive strategic partnership, noting that People’s China is the largest commercial partner of the Kingdom, and represents 13% of the Kingdom’s total exports and 15% of the Kingdom’s total imports.
