Saudi Arabia exempts foreigners who obtain an exit and return visa from fees and fines


The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia decided to exempt some categories of foreigners from fees and fines, especially those who left the Kingdom with an exit visa and were unable to return.

“The categories exempted from fees and fines include expatriates who have a valid residence permit and have left the Kingdom on an exit and return visa and have not been able to return, and their residency has expired or their visas have expired,” General Suleiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Yahya said in a press statement on Saturday. .He added: “Exempt categories also include residents within the Kingdom who issued an exit and return visa or final exit visa and did not benefit from them in addition to the expatriates who came to the Kingdom with a visit visa, whether for their relatives, or the task of doing or performing a specific matter and they wish to leave and they were not able to do so. Things that forced them to stay. ”

For its part, the General Directorate of Passports called on everyone to obtain news about the passports from its official channels, to avoid the transmission of inaccurate information.
