Apple and American TV star Oprah Winfrey announced on Monday that she will return to the form of her talk show with a new series aired on (Apple TV Plus), and his first episodes will focus on racism in the United States.

Apple and Winfrey said in a statement that the first episodes of the program “The Opera Conference” or “Dialogue with Opera” will be broadcast on July 30, along with Winfrey, the first episode that will be offered for free on Apple will witness the presence of X Kennedy, author of “How to be anti-racist”. “Bestseller, and the two will talk about racism with a group of whites.

“It is time to bring humanity back to dialogue,” Winfrey, one of the most influential women in the United States, wrote on Twitter, adding that she hoped for a “dialogue that would unite us, not divide us.”

The statement said that the new series, which does not have a specific timetable, “will discuss influential and relevant topics with wonderful thought leaders from all over the world.”

The program comes on the heels of a period in which the United States has witnessed protests across the country for more than two months against systematic racism.

Winfrey had concluded in 2011 her highest-rated daily TV talk show, in which she came up with new perspectives and addressed sensitive topics including incest and sexual assault, as well as interviews with some presidents and celebrities.

The episodes of the program will be filmed remotely due to the Corona pandemic, but will include audience interaction.
