News 24 | The appeal approves a ruling to annul a university’s decision to convert a faculty member into an employee


The first administrative department of the Court of Appeal in Makkah has upheld a ruling issued by the Administrative Court of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, which eliminated a disciplinary decision issued by one of the former administrators of Umm Al-Qura University, to convert a teaching member of the university into an employee of the university’s institute.

He was one of the faculty members of Umm Al-Qura UniversityAccording to Al-MadinaHe filed a grievance case before the Administrative Court of Makkah, calling for the annulment of a decision issued by the former director of the university, to transfer him from a professor at the College of Sharia to an employee of the Manuscripts Institute and revive the Islamic heritage, meaning that he worked far from the students.

After several sessions, a committee composed of 3 judges issued a ruling to annul the decision, which was supported by the first administrative department of the Court of Appeal, confirming in its ruling that the university did not take the regulatory procedures stipulated in the regulations governing university affairs regarding disciplining employees, namely: warning, blame, And deduction from salary.
