The United States has reported about 60,207 new infections with the new corona virus within 24 hours, according to Johns Hopkins University, which is a reference in tracking cases and deaths caused by Covid-19.
Data released by Johns Hopkins University on Sunday showed that total HIV infections in the United States have risen to 3,698,209 since the start of the epidemic.
During the past 24 hours, 832 new deaths were recorded in the United States as a result of the virus, raising the death rate in the country to 139,960, according to the Baltimore-based university.
Since the end of June, the world’s most powerful country has faced a rapid increase in the number of people infected with the virus, especially in the states in the west and south of the country.
Updated epidemiological models predict that the daily death toll associated with corona in the United States will increase, bringing the total deaths from the epidemic in this country to 151,000 by August 1 and 157,000 by August 8.
These figures are the result of average samples developed by 23 research groups in the United States and elsewhere, and published on Tuesday by the David Reich Lap Laboratory Team from the University of Massachusetts, on behalf of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
