Although he did not win the Premier League 2019-2020, Manchester City topped the list of the most scored goals.
The Celestial Team scored 102 goals during the Premier League matches, compared to 85 for Liverpool, 69 for Chelsea, and 67 Leicester City.
Manchester City’s achievement exceeding the 100-goal mark was not the first for the offensive fierce team, but rather for the third time in Premier League history, and the fifth in English Premier League history since its inception.
The first time was in the 1936-1937 season when the celestial team crowned the Premier League, and Manchester City scored 107 goals.
The second time was in the 1957-1958 season, Manchester City scored 104 goals, but ranked fifth in the table.
Under the leadership of Coach Manuel Pellegrini, Manchester City scored 102 goals in crowning the Premier League title 2013-2014 season.
In the historical season of the 2017-2018 celestial team, which saw 100 points for the first time in history, Pep Guardiola’s men scored 106 goals.
In the newly concluded season 2019-2020, Manchester City scored 102 goals, beating the champion that capped to receive fewer goals.
And no English team has succeeded throughout history in repeating what Manchester City did by scoring more than 100 goals in five different seasons.
