Liverpool said in an official statement: “By supporting the team and following the government directives, dear fan, you must play your part to keep Liverpool and our community safe.”
He added: “According to all closed matches, there will be no access to the stadium, in order to protect the health and safety of all participants. We have installed a fence around the perimeter of the earth to create a sterile area around the stadium, this will allow us to facilitate the task of social spacing for everyone.”
He continued: “We know that the fans are eager to see the team lift the cup, but nothing should happen outside the field and the team will not appear in the stands.”
He pointed out: “Anfield Road will be closed four hours before the match starts, and Walton Brick Road will remain open; however, we may be asked to close the road for health and safety reasons during the match.”
“We ask everyone to listen to the match against Chelsea from home,” the statement concluded.
