The Jordanian Minister of Health, Saad Jaber, signed an agreement with the “Pfizer” pharmaceutical company to provide Jordan with two million doses of a vaccine against the Coronavirus if it was manufactured and proved to be successful worldwide.

Jaber indicated that the agreement came within the efforts of the government and the ministry to provide the vaccine to Jordanians after the research centers conducted experiments on it in the third stage and began experimenting with the vaccine on humans.

In view of the increasing global demand for the vaccine in the event of its production, the Ministry of Health has communicated and signed several agreements with major international companies, including the “Pfizer” company, to provide Jordan with the vaccine in the event of successful trials and to secure the Jordanian need for it in light of the global competition for the vaccine, by the end of this year.
