The former Iraqi soccer star and current coach of the “Black Mesopotamian” junior team, Imad Muhammad, was infected with the new Corona virus, to join the list of celebrities hit by the disease.
RT, citing sports sources, said, “Imad Mohamed was infected with Corona and members of his family, and medical tests have proven this.”
It is noteworthy that Imad Muhammad had emptied his hotel in Karbala to be a place for the injured stone, free of charge.
Imad Muhammad, born in Karbala 1979, is one of the stars of the Iraqi team that won the Asian Cup title in 2007, and he played in the Athens Olympics in 2004 when the Iraqi team won fourth place, and he also played in the World Youth Cup in Canada in 2002.
The golden goal that Mohamed scored in the 2000 Asian Youth Championship final against the Japanese team is his most prominent achievement, as well as professionalism in the Qatari, Iranian and Egyptian leagues, when he played for Zamalek Club.
