Election of Princess Rima Bint Bandar Al Saud as a member of the International Olympic Committee

                On Friday, July 17, 2020, the International Olympic Committee elected five new people members of the world organization, including Princess Rima Bint Bandar Al Saud, the current ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United States.

                                    <p>In addition to Princess Rima Bandar Al Saud, the Olympic Committee confirmed the membership of British runner Sebastian Coe, Olympic champion twice in the 1500m race, and Colinda Grabar-Kitarovi ،, former president of Croatia (between 2015 and 2020), and Cuban Maria de la Caridad, Colonial Ruins, Olympic champion. In the 1980 javelin competition, Batoucheg Batbold, president of the Mongolian Olympic Committee.

The Princess holds the membership of the Saudi Olympic Committee, in addition to her membership in the Women and Sports Committee and the representative of the Saudi Special Olympics Federation.

She previously held the position of Under-Secretary-General of Sports for Planning and Development before becoming a Ministry of Sports, as well as her presidency of the Saudi Federation for Community Sports.
