Yesterday, Friday, the Ministry of Health and Population of Egypt announced the registration of 321 new cases of coronavirus and 31 deaths, down from 401 infections and 46 deaths the day before yesterday.
This is the lowest number of injuries the country has recorded since May 3, when it recorded 272 injuries.
“The total number that was registered in Egypt with the new corona virus until Friday, is 94078 cases, including 39,638 cases that have been cured, and 4,805 deaths,” said ministry spokesman Khaled Mujahid.
In mid-March, Egypt imposed measures for public isolation to combat the outbreak of the virus, including a night curfew, a ban on large public gatherings, and the closure of restaurants and theaters.
Most of these measures have been lifted since late June. A few days ago, the Council of Ministers announced the extension of working hours in cafes and restaurants from ten in the evening until midnight, while increasing the occupancy rate to 50 percent.
