Today, Monday, the well-known Egyptian journalist, writer Mohamed Mounir, died of corona virus at the age of 65, days after his release without guarantees on the background of one of the charges.

The death came after the State Security released him on July 2, when he was held in custody pending case No. 535 of 2020, after which he announced that he was infected with the Corona virus, to be detained in Agouza Hospital on July 7, until he passed away on Monday.

Journalist Mohamed Mounir was born on July 29, 1955, and studied at Giza High School, until he graduated from Ain Shams University from the Faculty of Philosophy, but he has great experience in the field of paper journalism in Egypt.
