A tweet published by the Spanish Federation on the eighth anniversary of the coronation of the team in Euro 2012, Wednesday, angered the Spanish “Matador” goalkeeper Iker Casillas.
The Spanish Federation published a video in which he thanked all the players who participated in the achievement of crowning the Spanish national team in the Euro Cup in 2012, but Casillas was angry that his face did not appear in the video while lifting the championship cup, and they only contented the image of the cup, ignoring to show it the way they showed the rest of the players .
The giant Spanish goalkeeper commented on his official account via “Twitter”, sarcastically: “I do not know if I have done something wrong for the team, and if it is like this, I apologize.”
He continued: “I will never forget you, it will always be my team.”
This was preceded when Casillas posted a tweet to recall the achievement, saying: “On this day, 8 years ago I raised the Euro 2012 Cup,” but this tweet did not receive any response from the Spanish Federation as it did with Sergio Ramos and Juan Mata, which made Iker Casillas feel Frustrated and angry.

It seems that the former Portuguese goalkeeper, Real Madrid, will pay the price of contemplating his candidacy for the Spanish presidential elections to rival Luis Rubiales, the current president, despite his withdrawal in recent days.
Casillas, captain of the World Cup Spain team, brought the curtain to a 5-year stint in Porto after his contract with the Portuguese club expired on Wednesday.
Casillas, 39, suffered a heart attack during a training session last year and has not participated in any official matches since April 2019.
