Athlete / AFC allows Saudi clubs participating in the AFC Champions League to register new players

The Saudi Football Association has received official approval from the AFC to request permission to Saudi clubs participating in the 2020 AFC Champions League to register new players who have been contracted and extended their contracts with their current clubs until the end of the current sports season, during the Asian registration period that ends at the end of next August .
The Saudi Federation asked the AFC to grant Saudi clubs to take advantage of the new players transferred to them at the end of the season who renewed their contracts with their previous clubs until the end of the league on the ninth of next September in order to address the conditions created by the emerging Corona virus crisis and led to the suspension of continental and local football activity.
According to this approval, the Saudi clubs will be able to register their players after the end of the resumption of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Cup, to participate in the remaining matches of the AFC Champions League, which will resume on the fourteenth of next September.
