Sharjah 24- WAM:

The Crisis and Emergency Management Committee in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi announced the start of applying the “DPI” technology based on the use of lasers to detect suspected cases of HIV-19, and to allow its users to enter the emirate.
The committee stressed that those wishing to enter Abu Dhabi can perform a DPI laser scan for the virus at the specified points, and those who appear as a result of examination with this device will be allowed a negative entry, while those who have had a positive scan result will undergo PCR nose scans for Covid-19 virus detection at the same site Before being asked to return to his place of residence and not mixing until the result appears.

Those who hold a negative result for Covid-19 examination conducted within 48 hours of receiving the result will continue to be allowed in.

The committee emphasized the necessity of planning and conducting checks in advance whenever possible to avoid any possible congestion or delay.

The “DPI” technology based on the laser depends on examining blood samples and reading the shape of the cells in them to determine within seconds the presence of infections such as those caused by the Covid-19 virus.
