With Liberty Media, owner of the Formula One World Championship, continuing to complete work on the second part of the season, following Announcing the first eight calendar of competitions this weekend. Sochi Circuit has emerged as a candidate to host two rounds.

A report by German Motor magazine Auto Sport und Sport indicated that Formula One will keep its plans flexible for the rest of this year, especially with regard to the continuing fog about Corona virus levels around the world.

Races were proposed in Imola, Hockenheim and Mugello, while it was almost certain that no races would be held in Baku, Singapore and Japan.

Among the ideas being studied is Sochi, given its location, the short distance from the airport and the ease of being able to isolate the Formula One crew from the outside world, which means that it is the perfect place to host two successive races.
