According to Tech Radar, WhatsApp will soon allow its users to make video calls with up to 50 people on the WhatsApp desktop application using computers or laptops, making it a new alternative for applications such as Zoom, Skype and Google Meet to meet the needs of video conferencing.

WABetaInfo researchers discovered the new update to the WhatsApp app in the new beta release, where the shortcuts in the WhatsApp menus will direct you to a feature Messenger Rooms new to Facebook, where you can create a call in Messenger Rooms and invite people to join, or create a call directly from WhatsApp.
