Twenty years after the liberation … of history, President Lahoud reveals the plan to eliminate Hezbollah with the facts!

The former President of the Republic, General Emile Lahoud, stressed that the most important issue in regard to Hezbollah, which is not mentioned by anyone who wrote the party’s history until now, and was not mentioned in any article or media outlook, where was the fundamental shift in the strength of the resistance?

Since history indicates the future, President Lahoud stressed the need for the new generation to know what happened in the “Battle of Reconciliation” in the year 1993.
He said: Following an operation by the resistance, the Israeli enemy began attacking Lebanon for a week. During this time, Lebanese Prime Minister Rafic Hariri, as usual, when he felt in danger, and for the duration of the aggression, he lived in his home in Damascus. He continued: When the aggression ended, Hariri returned to Beirut and sent my request in haste, saying: “Finally, the Syrian state was convinced to strike Hezbollah, and I am carrying a message from the Syrian leadership to strike Hezbollah tomorrow morning, and you are not responsible because a decision of the Security Council will be issued in the evening to the emergency forces that They walk in front of you and clean the south of Hezbollah, and the Lebanese army receives the weapon that the emergency forces confiscate from Hezbollah, and on your way you burn any armed man appearing with a flame-grenade, as well as get rid of the Popular Front in Naameh with a flame-grenade. “Hariri added heading to General Lahoud on his day as commander of the army: “Tomorrow at ten o’clock in the morning, the Supreme Defense Council meeting will take place and you will be present, and a decision will be issued to hit the militants, that is, Hezbollah. Since you succeeded in leading the army, and when you do this, you will be elected president of the republic in 1995.”

President Lahoud announced that his immediate answer was then: “My conscience does not allow me to strike Lebanese who want to return to their homes and Israel occupies their land.” Hariri replied: “If you want to make sure, check with the Syrian Chief of Staff, and he confirms the matter to you.” Then Lahoud’s answer was: “Search for someone else”, and Hariri added: “Tomorrow he appoints a new army chief other than you.”

President Lahoud tells the details of that night, saying: “At twelve o’clock in the night from the same day Beirut time, it was five o’clock in the afternoon New York time, Prime Minister Hariri called me and informed me of the issuance of a resolution in the United Nations Security Council. Al-Hariri said: “Tomorrow, the meeting of the Supreme Council of Defense and you are forced to attend.” Lahoud replied: “I will not attend the meeting because I am not obliged to attend because When the decision is issued, I will not be commander of the army. ”

President Lahoud went on to uncover the facts, adding: “The next morning, when I came to my office, I was surprised by the meeting of the commander of the international forces with his staff with Director of Intelligence Michel Rahbani and first assistant Jamil al-Sayed, and they were waiting for me and they prepared a map that explains how the international emergency forces will implement the decision in coordination with the army. Lebanese, and the commander of the international forces told me that since we have no time and the decision will be issued at ten in the Supreme Defense Council, we will explain to you how we will carry out the operation, so I told him I told the Prime Minister that I will not implement and therefore they waited until a new army commander was appointed then explain to him how to implement, and after Fifteen minutes, and in the presence of everyone, the Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs called me and spoke to me through a speaker, saying: The decision was taken and you have to go with the emergency forces and get rid of the militants with rockets, so I replied: Why are you the Foreign Minister who speaks to me and not the Minister of Defense, is he afraid? He replied, I will give you the Minister of Defense To give you the command, I replied: No need, I’m wrong, I left the army, and I got out of my office. ”

President Lahoud indicated that Brigadier Jamil Al-Sayyid, who had been in contact with the Syrians, called him after four hours and told him not to resign from the army command because President Hafez Al-Assad wanted to know him. President Lahoud continued: “After two days, the Syrian leadership greeted me at the border and accompanied me to visit the monument of the unknown soldier, followed by a military parade held on my honor and lunch with General Hikmat al-Shihabi and the Syrian leadership and dinner with Minister Talas on my honor as well. And the next morning, President Hafez al-Assad greeted me and it was The first time I met him: he explained to me at length the relations between Syria and Lebanon on the basis of two states and one people, and after that he asked me: The Lebanese state, the Syrian state and the Security Council gave you an order to hit the gunmen while you refused? I answered him: Allow me to explain to you my education, and he said: Please, I answered Since I was born, I remember the father saying to me: Your life is nothing in front of your conscience and your dignity, so I refused because if I did this thing, I lose both of them, so President Hafez al-Assad smiled and said: I did well, I assigned the Lebanese file officials with the mentality of the Lebanese officials to understand each other. He assured me that he was not aware of the decision to hit the resistance, then the conversation touched on the father and his history.

President Lahoud added: “At that time, had it not been for the presence of President Hafez al-Assad, the international forces with the Lebanese army would have ended the resistance and Hezbollah would not have been able to withstand more than two hours because it had no heavy weapons, no missiles, nor a foster environment, and also because at that time there was permanent fighting in the family One, meaning the movement of hope and Hezbollah. ”

President Lahoud continued: The new generations must know that if there were no leadership and men willing to die for the land, and President Hafez al-Assad’s decision to stand by the resistance, the liberation would not have taken place and Israel was in Beirut as it did in 1982.

He concluded: My will to the new generation, when a person is right and faces for his right, no one can overcome it, not only in resisting the Israeli enemy, but also against resisting the thief in Lebanon.
