Turkey announced today, Sunday, that it has made great progress in combating the emerging epidemic of Corona virus, noting that the number of people recovering from “COVID-19” infection exceeded for the first time the outcome of active cases.
Turkish Health Minister Fakhruddin Kuja said, in a new statistic published on Sunday, that the general number of people infected with coronavirus infection emerging in the country during the past 24 hours increased by 1670 to reach the level of 126045 cases.
This figure indicates a new significant decrease in the outcome of HIV infections in Turkey, as it was registered in the country, according to the statistics of April 29, 2936 cases, and on April 30, 2615, and on May 1, 2188, and on May 2, 1983.
Koujah stated that the death toll from the virus reached 3397 people after monitoring 61 new deaths during the past 24 hours, and this indicator witnessed a significant decline, as recorded in the country on April 29, 89 cases, and on April 30, 93, on May 1 84, and on May 2 78.
The Turkish Minister of Health, however, stated that the number of people recovering from the virus in the country reached 63151 people, after 4892 new cases were recorded.
He confirmed that the results of the tests for monitoring of the Corona virus reached 1135367 points, and rose during the last day by 24001.
In this context, Kogah stressed that the number of patients recovering from the emerging coronavirus infection exceeded, for the first time since March 11, when the outbreak was announced, the result of active infections.
He expected that this result will be much better with the implementation of the health measures announced in the country.
Koujah previously confirmed that his country has overcome the height of the outbreak and is controlling the course of the pandemic, with records for the recovered and new infections declining significantly.
