Statistics expect the second quarter of 2020 to be significantly worse in smartphone sales.
Canalis has linked the global decline to much greater than the figures show, and expected it to exceed 17%.
The South Korean company “Samsung” remains the most prominent “losers”, as it achieved sales stability of 21%, and continued to occupy the best-selling brand in the world.
“Samsung” followed the companies “Huawei” and “Apple” respectively, and climbed in fourth and fifth places, both “Xiaomi” and “vivo” respectively, thanks to strong sales of smart phones for these phones in India before the start of the closings in them.
“Most smart phone companies expect that the second quarter of 2020 will be the peak of the negative impact of the new Corona virus outbreak on them, and that sales will fall catastrophically,” the report quoted senior analyst at Canales, Ben Stanton, as saying.
