The dismissal of the director of a hospital in Egypt allowed patients to go away without treatment

The Egyptian authorities decided to dismiss the director of a hospital, which allowed Corona patients to be discharged from the hospital without completing their treatment.

And Dr. Nassif Afifi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Menoufia, decided to dismiss Dr. Ahmed El-Sersy, director of the Menouf Fever Hospital, for agreeing to the exit of patients with corona without completing their treatment.

It was found that patients were discharged from the hospital and went to their homes, putting others at risk of infection.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health decided to return the patients to the hospital, examine those in contact and assign Dr. Anwar Mahfouz, the hospital’s dietician to carry out the duties of the hospital director for a period of 3 months.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Menoufia apologized to the patients and their relatives for the right to administer the hospital.

The Egyptian Ministry of Health has announced the registration of 774 new positive cases of Corona virus and 16 deaths Thursday.
The ministry said in its daily statement that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the Corona virus, as of Thursday, was 15003 cases, including 4217 cases that were cured and discharged from isolation and quarantine hospitals, and 696 deaths.
