Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al-Baker said on Monday that the company expects passengers to occupy up to 60 percent of seats on some of its flights over the next two months with the gradually rebuilding its network, but a full recovery may take up to four years.
The carrier, which is owned by the state of Qatar, says it will start resuming flights this month to some destinations it had to suspend due to the Corona virus pandemic, according to Reuters news agency.
“I would be very surprised if something happened before 2023-2024,” Akbar Al-Baker told Reuters.
