Saudi Channel broadcast a report about a Saudi laboratory specialized in producing drones, reviewing the history of the manufacture of this type of aircraft, which it said was the first use of it by the American army in the Vietnam War.
She explained that this industry has witnessed a great development over the years, and its uses are diversified for military and military purposes, in firefighting, reconnaissance, surveillance, communications services and even scientific and research uses.
She pointed out that this sector began to grow significantly in the Kingdom, until the number of unmanned aircraft in the Kingdom reached more than 2000 aircraft, and the producers to 6 government agencies and 3 private sector companies, and the cost of one plane from 10 thousand to 5 million riyals.
