Abdel-Gawad pointed out, according to “Kouwara”, that canceling the league is not an injustice to Al Hilal, saying: “Injustice is to put people at risk for a club, and there are many examples around the world such as the Dutch League that was canceled recently, as well as the Mexican, whose results were canceled and others.”

And the former Al-Ahly player completed his speech by saying, “There is no alternative to canceling the season, for several reasons, most notably the fitness and psychological state of the players and the material, and if I were responsible, I would immediately cancel the season and give clubs the opportunity to think about the next season.”

Al-Hilal tops the league standings table with 51 points, 6 points behind Al-Nasr, the runner-up, 8 rounds before the end of the competition, which was suspended due to the Corona virus.
