His Highness said that the state will spare no effort to provide the best levels of health care and medical services and everything that guarantees the health and safety of members of society, as human life and its preservation always come at the top of its priorities and does not give it importance.
This came during the visit of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, yesterday, Emirates Field Hospital for the treatment of patients with the new corona virus (Covid-19) in “Mohammed bin Zayed City” in Abu Dhabi, which has a capacity of 1200 beds distributed in nine regions , And is run by a team of 46 doctors and specialists and 155 nurses.
His Highness reviewed the hospital’s readiness, equipped with the latest medical devices, equipment and technologies, with the aim of supporting the health sector in the country and its absorptive capabilities and its readiness to face challenges and enhance the state’s efforts in combating the new Corona virus (COFED-19), as well as providing care and treatment services in accordance with the best international health standards in relation Safety, quality, expertise and medical equipment.
His Highness was accompanied during the visit by His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, head of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Hamid, head of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, and Under-Secretary of the Court of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei.
During the tour, His Highness listened to an explanation from the Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company “Health” Salem Al-Nuaimi about the facilities of the field hospital, which extends over an area of 29 thousand square meters, and includes 24 nursing areas, clinics, a laboratory for patients, fixed and mobile pharmacies and medical stores, in addition to areas Administrative staff, Internet services, tablets and more.
His Highness continued the process of registering patients starting from hospital admission and taking care of them and the available features, and visited the patient rooms in the health isolation that includes the latest medical devices and equipment, and inspecting one of the urgent health care rooms, while the new facility was prepared to care for patients suffering from light to severe symptoms.
His Highness thanked and appreciated all health institutions and medical cadres, including doctors, nurses, paramedics, paramedics, administrators, and field work teams, who participated in the first classes facing the Corona epidemic for their exceptional efforts and dedication to provide health care and preserve the safety and health of community members.
His Highness added: “It is important for our families and residents to continue to adhere to the procedures, especially during this period, and to see, God willing, the numbers of the injured decrease, and I am confident that they understand and adhere to.”

3400 patients accommodate the field hospitals

Also, the response service was set up through the instant messaging program “WhatsApp” to answer queries related to the emerging “Corona” virus.
