The government: Global gasoline prices increased in the first week of May

AMON – The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources said that gasoline prices of both types rose during the first week of May, compared to the average price for the month of April.

Where the octane gasoline recorded a price of 90 dollars, reached 211 dollars per ton, compared to 164.5 dollars in the month of April, a rise of 28.3%. The price of gasoline octane 95 increased from 174.3 dollars per ton to 227.6 dollars, an increase of 30.6%. As for the price of diesel, it decreased from $ 220.3 per ton to $ 218.6, and by a decrease of 0.08%. The price of kerosene decreased from $ 167.7 per ton to $ 150.7, and by a decrease of 10.1%.

As for the price of fuel oil, it decreased in the first week of April to $ 131.9 per ton, compared to the price recorded in the month of April, which is $ 145.1, and a decrease of 9.1%.

On the other hand, the price of liquefied petroleum gas increased for the month of May to $ 340 per ton, compared to its price recorded last April, which amounted to $ 245.2.

The price of Brent crude rose in the first week to $ 22.1 a barrel, compared to its price in April, which amounted to $ 19.2.
