The Syrian Artists Syndicate has announced the death of the artist and theater director Mamoun Al-Farakh, who passed away at the age of 62, following a myocardial infarction.

Al-Farkh participated in dozens of works, one of the most famous of which was the series “Bab Al-Hara”, in which he played the role of “Abu Samir Al-Homsani”, in addition to his participation in the series: “Diaries of a General Monastery”, “Days of Wrath”, “Brothers of Dirt” and “A Hero of this Time”. “Al-Khawali,” “Al-Ababeed,” “Escape to the Top,” “Salihiya Nights,” “People of the Flag,” “Asaad Al-Warraq,” “The Leader,” and many others.

Al-Farkh graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Art in Damascus. He was born in Damascus in 1958.
