The African Union confirmed that the total number of new Coronavirus infections that were registered in the brown continent exceeded the threshold of 90 thousand, while touching the death toll from the three thousand epidemic.
And the health authorities in the countries of the African continent have monitored until today, Wednesday, according to the latest data of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of the African Union, 91598 cases of coronavirus that causes “Covid-19”, and 2912 of these patients died, while 35808 others recovered.
The Republic of South Africa tops the list of the largest outbreaks of the Corona virus in the continent with 17,200 confirmed cases of the epidemic, followed by Egypt with 13484 cases, Algeria (7,377 cases), Morocco (7,048 cases) and Nigeria (6,401 cases).
For its part, Egypt tops the list of the African countries most affected by Corona in terms of deaths, with 659 deaths, followed by Algeria (561), South Africa (312), Morocco (193) and Nigeria (192).
