Press reports revealed that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has approved the Moroccan stadiums chosen by the Moroccan Confederation for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
The Confederation of African Football believes that the stadiums of Mohamed V, Prince Moulay Abd Allah and Marrakesh the Great are ready to receive the matches of the “Atlas Lions” team in the World Cup qualifiers, noting that all of them have fulfilled all the conditions stipulated.
According to Moroccan press reports, the Moroccan Football Federation decided to choose Mohamed V stadium, as the main stadium to host the country’s national team’s qualifying matches, while it put the Rabat and Marrakesh stadiums as reserve stadiums.
And it is expected that the Moroccan national team will play its first match in the World Cup qualifiers next November, in the event the International Federation maintains the program of matches without change in light of the pandemic of the Corona virus, which caused the change of most championships and sports competitions in the world.
