Bayern Munich club, Thursday, extended their coach Hans Flick’s contract until June 30, 2023.

The Bavarian club published an official statement on its website, confirming Flick’s signature of the new contract, in the presence of a number of members of the Board of Directors.

Bayern was forced to postpone the signing of the contract, which was agreed weeks ago, due to the emerging crisis of the Corona virus, and the clubs taking precautionary measures to avoid the transmission of infection, including lack of contact and social separation between all individuals.

The new coach appeared alongside the Bavarian club officials with the Bayern logo masks, to emphasize the importance of adhering to the country’s medical guidelines.

It is noteworthy that Flick, 55, took charge of Bayern Munich temporarily last November, succeeding Croatian Niko Kovac, before obtaining the confidence of the administration, which gave him the opportunity to continue for the next 3 years.
