An Italian woman has won a Picasso painting valued at one million euros ($ 1.1 million) in a charitable draw, organizers announced Wednesday evening.
The women won the award at an international event called “1 Picasso for 100 Euros” under the management of Christie’s Auction House and CARE Aid to fund their projects in Africa.Each participant paid 100 euros for a ticket online. The winning ticket was chosen in an electronic drawing of the Christie’s Auctions Award in Paris.
The clouds collected more than 5 million euros and more than 100 countries participated in it.
This event was scheduled for March 30th, but was postponed due to the Corona virus pandemic.
A second version of that event is scheduled for 2021.
