An international English player accused of betting and breaching the rules

The English Football Association (FA), Kiran Trippier, the defender of the “Three Lions” national team and Spanish club Atletico Madrid, has been charged with misconduct for breaking the Football Association’s betting rules.
And the English media have spoken that the alleged violation occurred in July of last year, with the transfer of Trippier from Tottenham Hotspur to the Spanish club Atletico Madrid, and stated that the player was given until May 18 to defend himself.
Trippier commented on the accusation, “I complied with the FA’s investigation in recent months on a voluntary basis, and I will continue along this lines. During my professional career, I have not entered into any football bets, nor have I received any financial benefit from the betting of others.”
