The Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, is looking to annex the occupied West Bank, after the Knesset approves his new government.

Netanyahu seeks to annex the occupied West Bank and the Jordan Valley to the Israeli occupation.

“These areas are where the Jewish nation was born and brought up,” Reuters quoted Netanyahu as saying during his speech in the Knesset. It is time to apply Israeli law to it and write another great chapter in the records of Zionism, ”he claimed.

On Sunday, the Knesset approved the new government formed by Netanyahu, with 73 votes to 45, despite being accused of corruption.

Netanyahu had agreed with the leader of the “Blue and White” party, to form a unity government that would last for 3 years, and who would take over as defense minister in the Netanyahu government.

It is noteworthy that Netanyahu will appear before the court on May 24, where he faces 3 corruption cases, after the first sessions were supposed to start last March, but it was postponed due to the outbreak of the “Coved 19” epidemic.
