Makhlouf’s statements implicitly referred to Assad’s wife, as they represented the economic team influencing the decisions of the head of the regime, especially since they are charged by him with what he called “fighting corruption” that affected more than one person, the most famous of whom was Makhlouf, and he who accumulated huge wealth illegally, benefiting From his relationship with the system and its facilities and keeping him away from any legal accountability.

Asma al-Assad appeared to talk about an economic program for the wounded army of the regime, indicating its reactivation and the “correction” of errors that have been marred, considering the new virus Corona, which increased the suffering of the wounded regime, as she said.

Surprisingly, despite the violent economic crisis the Assad economy is going through and Asma recognized in her speech, she promised Assad to provide an “emergency grant” for all the wounded of his army, in the coming days.
