18 terrorists were killed in clashes with the Egyptian security forces in Sinai

The Egyptian Ministry of the Interior announced, at dawn on Sunday, that 18 terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire when their hatred was targeted The vicinity of the city of Bir al-Abed North Sinai.

She said weapons and ammunition were found in the possession of the terrorists, who exchanged fire with the forces when they raided Al-Wakr.

The ministry stated that 13 automatic weapons, 3 explosive devices and two explosive belts were found and the prosecution that took over the investigation was notified.

On Thursday, an explosion occurred in the city of Bir al-Abed, North Sinai, killing and wounding 10 soldiers, while ISIS claimed responsibility.

Colonel Tamer Al-Rifai, the military spokesman, said that an explosive device exploded with an armored vehicle south of the city of Bir al-Abd, resulting in the death and injury of an officer, a non-commissioned officer, and 8 soldiers.

He stated that the army forces continue their combat operations against terrorist elements to maintain the security of the country.
