China-owned Volvo Cars plans to resume production at its main plant in Sweden on Monday, after closing due to an outbreak of the Corona virus.

The company said, yesterday, that the volume of production at the “Torcelanda” plant in Gothenburg will be adjusted to meet market demand as well as current order records.

“We have a responsibility towards our employees and suppliers to resume operation now that the situation is now allowing for this,” said Hakan Samuelson, CEO of the company in a statement.
