Vehicles to deliver goods from outlets to homes

The Integrated Transport Center in Abu Dhabi and the Department of Economic Development, in cooperation with the approved outlets in the emirate, announced the launch of the “Taxi Outlets Support Initiative” through which the center provides the approved outlets with taxis to deliver goods and services to homes directly, and for all segments of society Citizens and residents.
The Center explained that this initiative comes within the framework of the efforts made by government agencies to preserve the health and safety of citizens and residents, by staying in their homes and delivering goods and services to them. The new service also embodies the keenness of government agencies and strategic partners involved to root and consolidate the principles of social responsibility towards society, especially in light of the current circumstances.
The dealers communicate directly with the authorized sales outlets to purchase materials and goods through their call centers or their smart applications, and then the sales outlets will use the taxis provided by the integrated transportation center to deliver the requests to the dealers. All outlets can use the Abu Dhabi Fare app to take advantage of the service after registering through the number 600535353.
The center stressed that the delivery process is direct, fast and safe, and the sales outlets can know the vehicle’s location and track the process of delivering goods and services with ease through smart communication systems equipped with vehicles and a modern geographic mapping system that enables tracking the movement of the driver and determining the location and flight time. Also, all taxis are equipped with surveillance cameras, which enables the integrated transport center to monitor and track the movement of the driver.
