The UAE Central Bank reduces the requirements of the mandatory reserve for demand deposits by 50 percent

The Emirates Central Bank said today, Sunday, that it reduced the requirements of the mandatory reserve for demand deposits by 50 percent to support the economy during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The bank added that the total value of the procedures related to capital and liquidity adopted by the UAE Central Bank since March 14 amounted to 256 billion dirhams (69.70 billion dollars).
