The Saudi Cybersecurity Federation launches the “Humathon Challenge” competition

The Saudi Cyber Security, Programming and Drones Association announced today (Tuesday) the launch of the “Homathon Challenge” competition.
The Federation said in a statement that the competition, which continues to register until next Saturday, aims to promote innovative solutions to meet the current conditions of the Corona pandemic in 8 major areas, during the period from 19 to 25 April (current).
He added that the door to competition in the “Humathon Challenge” will be open to programmers from inside Saudi Arabia and the Arab countries, and the total prizes ($ 85,000) are divided into the best 3 programming and technical solutions in the areas of (digital government services, financial technology, education, health, remote work , Logistics, commerce, and entertainment), at 50 thousand for the first, 25 thousand for the second, and 15 thousand for the third.
The launch of this challenge, which will take place in a virtual atmosphere, with the participation of international arbitrators from major international technology companies, in line with the “Vision 2030”, and in line with the current conditions of the Corona pandemic, with the aim of demonstrating specific software and technical solutions to contribute to reducing the spread of the Corona virus.
The output of the homathon will be directed to governments, companies and societies in the Arab world, in a manner that enhances and provides remote work solutions and links between developers in the Arab world, and the impact of the solutions presented on Arab societies will be a prerequisite for participating in the 7-day challenge, provided that These solutions are in the form of (software, hardware, pos).
The homathon will give participants the opportunity to create the largest possible number of challenges facing governments, and will also contribute to shedding light on technical skills, which will open the way to shed light on technical skills, which will allow them to attract them to work in Saudi Arabia in the future.
